About Kids Depot

Established in 1999, Kids Depot is a state licensed facility currently serving 185 children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. In addition, Kids Depot provides before and after school care for elementary school age children and serves Sango, East Montgomery Elementary and Barksdale Schools. Transportation is provided for school-age program attendees and for field trips. Also, our school age summer program is fun filled with numerous educational and exciting weekly field trips.

In 2008 we exceeded the State of Tennessee 3 Star Rating program and are now approved and monitored by the Department of Education.

The staff and Foster Grandparents at Kids Depot provide the children with lots of love and attention with low child/teacher ratios.

Kids Depot is located in Sango Village and open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. A breakfast, morning snack, hot lunch and afternoon snack are served daily. We follow the USDA Food Program guidelines.

Early Intervention Program

Early intervention is a partnership between families and caring professionals working together to encourage natural learning which occurs during the early months and years of a child's life. Services offered include developmental screenings and assessments, behavior management, center-based, home-based and community-based programs, family group activities, transportation and transition into the school system.

The PDI Early Intervention Program serves children birth to three (3) years with a range of special needs.
